Lainie Norton – Director of
Covenant Presbyterian Preschool
Lainie has been a part of the Covenant Preschool Family for fourteen years. Her education and 20+ years experience is in Early Childhood Education. She is passionate about teaching children and working closely with teachers to create a loving environment where children can flourish. Lainie is always excited to meet each and every child and looks forward to developing a warm relationship with every family. Should you have any questions or concerns, her door is always open.
Kim has been a part of the Covenant Preschool community for the past 18 years and has loved working with great teachers, parents, and fabulous children. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelors in Sociology and has been teaching for 16 years. She loves the smiles and delight the children show when they master a skill, and her reward is when they say, "I LOVE SCHOOL!"
Adriana has a degree from Birmingham University, UK and is fluent in Spanish. Her youngest daughter is a 2016 Conevant Preschool graduate. Adriana has always enjoyed working with young children and loves seeing the joy in their faces >when they enter the classroom. In her spare time she enjoys running & reading.
Edie recently moved to Atlanta from the Orlando area to be near her adult children and one year old grand baby. She holds bachelor degrees in both Child Development and Education and has spent nearly 40 years working in the field of early childhood education. She taught the Parent-Child Preschool at Seminole State College for 20 years before serving as Director for the next 18 years at two Christian preschools. Edie's passion lies in early childhood education and she can't imagine anything that would give her more joy! She strives to teach each child not only the skills they need, but most importantly to love learning because that is what they will carry with them forever!
Charlotte is a mom whose world revolves around her four beautiful daughters. She has worked with children in public school as well as in a private setting. She spends most evenings and weekends at the ball field. She loves sitting on those bleachers with her husband cheering for their girls at their softball games. When not at the ball field, she is busy finding ways to help her girls experience all the things life has to offer. Charlotte enjoys scrapbooking, baking, making hair bows for her 4 year old, and trying out different crafting ideas from Pinterest.
Madeline has been at Covenant for 6 years and has always had a passion for learning and inspiring others to learn. As lead teacher of the 2-year old class, she incorporates art projects and kinesthetic, hands-on activities as much as possible because she believes that’s the most exciting way to learn. She has years of experience with children, and is a passionate teacher with an eye for design and a heart for teaching. Madeline is graduating from KSU in December.
